Reports of racist behaviour during Carlisle’s FA Cup defeat to Everton were met, quite rightly with complete and utter disgust.

United had released a statement making it clear the club would do whatever they could to help weed out those thought to be guilty with Keith Curle also making his thoughts on the matter perfectly clear.

It had been said these remarks were ‘aimed towards players’ following the opening goal in the Premier League sides three-nil win at Brunton Park on Sunday.

A 15-year-old, from Carlisle, has been arrested and was held ‘on suspicion of racially aggravated harassment by words contrary to Section 4a of the Public Order Act’ according to the BBC but he was ‘later released on bail pending further inquiries.’

Carlisle are continuing to work with Cumbria Police in an effort to identify anyone else who might have been involved, all being well all will be found and punished as there’s no place for this in modern society!
