Carlisle’s League 2 season continued, with them remaining unbeaten, with an amazing draw against Cambridge at Brunton Park on Saturday

An up and down game at Brunton Park saw Carlisle come from behind and Ibehre grab himself a hat-trick, the first in League 2 this season to continue his early season form, but that still wasn’t enough to give the Blues all three-points in a four-four draw with free scoring Cambridge!

Cambridge’s Corr (11) headed the visitors ahead with Taft’s (21) soon making it two-nil. Ibehre’s (42 & 44) quick fire double saw Carlisle level, however the Blues still went into the break three-two down when Corr (45) was able to restore this lead.

Within minutes of the restart Wyke (50) had Carlisle level gain but yet again Cambridge took the lead when Berry (58) scored ahead of the hour.

With a little less than 15-minute to play Ibehre (76) completed his hat-trick, and the goalscoring in this eight-goal thriller!

These were the match highlights.

This three-nil Northampton win against previously unbeaten Exeter, which followed up a three-nil League Cup win over Blackpool in midweek, made it three wins out of three with seven-goals scored and none conceded so far by Chris Wilder’s side.

Carlisle are back in action this midweek with a monster of an away game against Plymouth at Home Park on Tuesday.
