The reports were correct, Carlisle have indeed brought in another player from Sunderland.

Young striker Jordan Cook has signed on a one-month loan deal as our friends at Vital Sunderland confirm with safc123 writing:

Carlisle have completed their second signing of the January Transfer Window, capturing Jordan Cook on a one-month loan deal.

The 21 year-old striker joins former Sunderland midfielder Liam Noble at Brunton Park.

Cook has made three substitute appearances for the Sunderland first-team and will look to gain invaluable senior experience with Greg Abbott’s side.

Good luck, Jordan!
