Carlisle secured a dramatic injury-time win to move back into the league one play-off places.

With the game at 2-2 and both sides hitting the woodwork Graham Kavanagh admitted that he had ‘settled for a point’.

Although the win did come thanks to Francois Zoko’s injury-time winner, played out in front of just 4,265 fans, which disappointed the assistant manager: ‘when Zoko hit the post late on and they hit the bar I started to settle for a point.

‘It’s great to get the win – I just wish more people had been here to see it.’

Paddy Madden, who had recently gained praise from Greg Abbott, marked his full home debut with a goal with Kavanagh happy for him to get this maiden strike: ‘I’m delighted for Paddy that he got his goal. It’s a monkey off his back.’
