Carlisle United are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week’s action.

The performance by Jabo Ibehre in the five nil victory over Notts County at the weekend at Meadow Lane was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Ibehre was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Carlisle hit five at Notts County and the Cumbrians` top scorer rounded a fine personal season off with two more goals, taking his figure to 17. Ibehre also turned provider for one of the goals in the 5-0 success at Notts County.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Ibehre for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the three points.

Full Team:

Sam Sargeant (Leyton Orient), Lee Brown (Bristol Rovers), Stephen Ward (Burnley), Chey Dunkley (Oxford United), Gaston Ramirez (Middlesbrough), Jake Livermore (Hull City), Jon Taylor (Peterborough United), Anthony Forde (Walsall), Sam Winnall (Barnsley), Jabo Ibehre (Carlisle United), Louis Rooney (Plymouth Argyle).

Manager – Darrell Clarke (Bristol Rovers).
