The penultimate pre-season Carlisle friendly ended in a draw with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park on Friday.

Kilmarnock started brightly and were quickly ahead through Paul Heffernan. Carlisle weren’t behind for long though and were soon level when Mark Beck tapped home, and one-one is how the score stayed at the break.

The Cumbrians were quickly out the blocks in the second half and Beck’s second saw them come from behind to lead.

A last minute Heffernan second denied Carlisle a win and ensured Killie drew the game 2-2.
