Ben Parker could extend his loan spell with Carlisle, with Greg Abbott mulling over the potential of this.

Matty Robson is the first choice left back for Carlisle but Parker has filled in for the past month on loan from Leeds. Abbott, as he told The News & Star, is still deciding what to do: ‘we haven’t got Matty back yet but right now it’s not something I have given a great deal of thought.

‘It’s something we will have to have a look at but I need to get Monday’s game out of my system and look at things later in the week.

‘I will have to look at all the options.’

Parker’s loan is due to end after the weekend game against Yeovil, although with Leeds now having a new manager he could well see his chance of resurrecting his career at Elland Road?
