The Football Association have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Yeovil Town this weekend.

Carlisle United host Yeovil Town on Sunday January 10 for the FA Cup Third Round tie at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road and the match carries a 2pm kick off.

Referee: Andrew Madley
Linesmen: Billy Khatib and Scott Oldham
Fourth Official: Mark Duncan

Match Day referee Madley (West Yorkshire) has officiated one Carlisle game this season – the one all draw with Liverpool in the Capital One Cup. In that game he showed one yellow card, to Liverpool.

He has however already taken in 24 other matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he has handed out a total of 76 yellow cards and three red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Brentford and Reading on August 29 with a total of eight yellows being shown. He also showed eight yellows in the game between Rochdale and Oldham on October 24.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
