Carlisle 3-3 Yeovil
23rd March 2013

Brunton Park

Two late goals enabled Carlisle to secure a dramatic point against play off chasing Yeovil on Saturday afternoon.

Carlisle thought that they had a penalty early on before Yeovil almost managed to take the lead, which they did soon after. Kevin Dawson (25) opened the scoring when he smashed into the roof of the net just past the midway point of the half.

With half time approaching Carlisle were level when Lee Miller (39) was quickest to react as he turned home a rebound.

Shortly after the break Paddy Madden (51) continued his goalscoring form, hitting his 21st of the season, against his former side to restore the lead and the three points looked secured late on when James Hayter (78) added another.

Miller (90) looked like he had scored a mere consolation in the last minute for the visitors, however a dramatic 3-3 draw was secured when Mathieu Manset almost marked his debut with a goal but his effort was blocked but still ended in the back of the net going in off Luke Ayling (90+4) for an own goal.
