Spaniard back for Carlisle

Zigor Aranalde makes a welcome return to the Carlisle side after recovering from a knee injury.

And there are also slight doubts concerning the fitness of leading goalscorer Kar Hawley and Peter Murphy, but both are expected to be fit.

But on-loan Michael Bridges will again have to be content with a place on the bench due to the impressive recent expolits of Hawley and Derek Holmes.

And Cumbrians boss Paul Simpson had this to say to the Cumberland News regarding the Bridges situation.

‘Michael will get his opportunity, but I’ve made it clear there are no promises about when his chance will come.

‘He understands the situation and he doesn?t have a problem with it and he?s happy it.’

Incidentally, Bridges started his first game for the club in Friday night?s Cumberland Cup tie with Harraby Catholic Club, netting a brace in a 7-0 victory.
