Striker Hawley Is Better Than Tyson

Paul Simpson has said that Karl Hawley is a better, more rounded player than Nathan Tyson who has just left Wycombe and gone on loan to Nottingham Forest with a view to a £650,000 permanent switch in the January transfer window.

Hawley scored a hattrick in the 4-3 win against Torquay at the weekend to become the first Carlisle player for 75 years to get a treble in two consecutive league matches. His seasons goal tally is now 12 and Simpson said ‘I’m biased obviously, but I actually think there’s more to Karl’s game than there is to Tyson’s.’
