The Keith Curle impact continues to have the desired effect as he guided us to yet another victory on Saturday afternoon, and another 3-0 one at that! This time it was Stevenage Borough that were put to the sword at Brunton Park.

If you didn’t know any differently you wouldn’t have thought we were struggling at the bottom of the league 2 table after our first half showing, which saw us take the lead when Kyle Dempsey set up Brad Potts (17) to best Stevenage ‘keeper Chris Day to give us the lead.

Ahead of the half hour mark, and punishing a missed chance the visitors had, we made it two-nil when Steven Rigg (28) got on the end of a move involving Danny Grainger and Potts to convert a cross from the latter.

More goals could have come our way in the second half, including a Charlie Lee slice onto his own post, before Andy Bond forced ‘keeper Dan Hanford into a rare save.

Mark Beck (87) rounded off another three-nil win with a simple finish from six-yards though.
