If you go down to the woods today

An estimated 2000 Blues fans will be at the City Ground for this game, with the facility to pay at the gate if you havent already procured your match ticket.

Forest, who top the league, were beaten last time out (their only league defeat this season) 0-2 to Oldham Athletic. Blues could face the back lash for that defeat…with Carlisle born Grant Holt starting up front for the home side and ex Blues striker Scott Dobie believed to be on the Forest bench.

As for Blues, well the 1-1 draw at Bradford was a good point, but the performance warranted far more than a point. Blues look to be a decent side, competitive and skilful. It should be the same starting line up for Neil McDonalds team.

So what can we expect, well Forest, as has been proved midweek, are beatable. They are in some pundits belief, riding on reputation with teams laying down and submitting to them without a fight. Blues have the ability to match Forest across the field, however, this may well prove a more tactical performance, Holt is on fire up front and Forest have been banging in the goals – at times for fun.

A draw would be a decent result, a victory -an outstanding one, but each and every Blues player is going to have stand up and be counted for this one.

Looking forward to this one, it has the makings of a good game. And yes, we are all hoping for a backlash to an awful display against Oldham.
