Saturday was a game that neither side could afford to lose so perhaps it wasn’t too much of a surprise that York against Carlisle ended in a draw at Bootham Crescent!

The nil-nil draw was a point that we’ll probably accept more as the away side, and having lost five of our last six-matches, with this a point that leaves us both three-points above the bottom three with us both thankful to Northampton for beating Tranmere….

Wyke forced a save out of York ‘keeper Olejnik, but will feel he should have done better with York denied by not one but two goal line clearances.

First O’Hanlon was in the right place to clear a Coulson shot away and then Sinclair saw his effort cleared away by Archibald-Henville, so with these clearances in mind certainly a point that we’ll take more!
