Carlisle weren’t back in the relegation zone for long, having lost four-matches on the spin the win over fellow strugglers Cheltenham on Tuesday saw us out of the bottom two. A first half strike proved the difference as we saw out a one-nil win at Brunton Park!

Wyke (31) continued his impressive start to life at Brunton Park as he forced home the ball, following a Sweeney header across goal.

Cheltenham threatened to draw level but one Taylor effort was cleared off the line by O’Hanlon while another header went just wide as we collected a vital three-points!

Attention now moves away from this game and turns to our next one against Exeter and we are looking for your view on what way this will go?
