Amazingly, from a winning position, with Carlisle set to extend the winning run against title chasing Shrewsbury not one but two injury-time goals turned the game on it’s head in midweek….

A second half goal looked certain to give us the three-points at Brunton Park on Tuesday, that would have to be settled for a point in injury-time but then amazingly Shrewsbury scored again to see them dramatically snatch a two-one win!

Confidence was clearly high given the form of late with only Shrewsbury ‘keeper Leutwiler standing between us and a lead as he kept out a Potts header and turned Griffith’s drive onto the bar.

Shrewsbury put us under pressure in the second half, going close several times with Sheffield Wednesday loanee Young heading a Goldson effort off the line to keep us in it.

Wyke (66) made it four in four when he got onto the end of a long ball to beat Leutwiler and give us the lead at the midway point of the second half.

Victory was ours until Demetriou (90+3) headed home from a corner in injury-time, just moment later and even deeper into injury-time Collins (90+4) fired home the winner to complete the dramatic comeback and leave us crestfallen….

Attention now moves away from this game and turns to our next one against Luton and we are looking for your view on what way this will go?
