The midweek injury-time defeat to Shrewsbury was followed up by another Carlisle loss on Saturday when Luton inflicted defeat on us.

Luton ended the game with 10-men but it didn’t matter with a first half goal enough to give them a one-nil win at Kenilworth Road.

The better of the first half chances came for Luton so it wasn’t a surprise in the end when Hanford was finally beaten as Robinson’s pass to Cullen (38) was fired home to put them into the half time break ahead.

A red card was issued to Wilkinson when he was shown a straight red card at the midway point of the second half when he brought down Sweeney when he was clean through.

With 10-men Luton could have still made the points safe beyond a doubt but Drury’s volley hit the bar and even though Cullen turned the ball into the net but his effort was ruled out for offside with Amoo and Grainger having chances to earn us a point….
